I'm a Belgian composer, violinist and producer.
Over the years, my violin has taken me across stages, studios and countries, leading to collaborations with artists from many different musical worlds.
Whether through contemporary composition, electronic music or acoustic projects, I'm always searching for emotion, space and silence as much as sound.
Today, I divide my time between composing, recording, producing and performing live.
I've always believed that music is a way of meeting people.
“Je me nourris énormément des rencontres avec les gens.”

Between acoustic instruments, electronics and cinematic soundscapes.
Damien Chierici is a Belgian composer, violinist and producer whose work explores the meeting point between contemporary composition, electronic music and traditional musical cultures.
Although classically trained, he has always been drawn to musical traditions rooted in place and memory. Over the years, his travels have become as important as his studies, leading him to discover new ways of listening and creating.
His instrument gradually became a passport, opening the door to collaborations with artists and ensembles including Glen Hansard, Dan San, Didier Laloy and the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, alongside countless encounters across Europe.
Today, Damien develops projects including OOOTOKO and KOWARI, moving freely between acoustic instruments, electronics and cinematic soundscapes. Whatever the setting, his music is guided by curiosity, emotion and the belief that every culture, every landscape and every encounter can leave a lasting imprint on sound.
